Correction 13 May 2021: The sentence "Herodotus also mentions the assumedly muddy sea in front of the Straits of Gibraltar and in front of the estuary of the Red Sea" (p. 4) is misleading. Herodotus does mention muddy sea outside the Straits of Gibraltar, but not directly in front of the Straits of Gibraltar. This misleading sentence appears only in this summary.
